Why The State GOP Doesn't Win Elections

This has Mike Protack written all over it. One day, maybe two after Jan Ting entered the race for Senate Protack issued a press release ripping Ting for using immigration as his big issue. Protack chided Ting for being concerned about immigration now, when he worked in INS 15 years ago. Because apparently Protack was the only one back then who foresaw the massive influx of illegal immigrants and all that it would bring.

Now on the eve of a big GOP dinner and straw poll, letters have been circulated to GOP big wigs ripping Ting for being anti-Vietnam back in the 60's. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?!?!!

I guess Republicans in Delaware are in awe that Tom Carper flew a navy jet in that war. Not to denigrate Carper in any way, I like the guy, but at this point Vietnam service doesn't really mean anything to anyone. If anything Ting was ultimately on the right side of that issue way back when. But apparently his protests of the war are a weak spot for him. Well, I guess that's if you really want to see Protack try and break that 15% mark in a general election.

Now the airline pilot may or may not be behind it. We don't really know yet. But there may exist a deal between Protack and the GOP in Delaware that if by a certain date later this year, if it appears that someone else is the guy the GOP wants Protack will back out. That means, no bitter primary. Even if that's the case though, I'm doubtful Protack follows through on it. And this could be the latest of many slimy attacks between now and that date as Protack tries to protect his candidacy. But even as Protack may attract a few votes here and there to his side, he's alienating many more Republicans in the state. Before he was seen as a major annoyance. I'm sure a big chunk of the party would love to be able to dispel him from their ranks. But if this keeps up, there won't be many Republicans in his party willing to issue even a no comment when asked about him. Mike, many in your party are ready to turn on you viciously. It's going to start coming soon, too.

Some blame Protack for Judge Lee not being the current governor of Delaware. The state GOP finds a great candidate to challenge Carper, and even if at his best Ting may not be able to match up with Carper this year, if Protack keeps playing dirty it may be the straw poll that breaks the elephant's back. Republicans already say Protack is the best thing the Democrats have going for them. That isn't a compliment. Though it does appear like he's going to prove that adage once again. I think this is the first time I've seen a political party actually hate one of their own candidates for a major office. Let me put it this way; the Democrats could run Barbara Lifflander for statewide office and if her opponent was Protack she'd win easily.

Am I clear now?

Advice: Get over the One Who Shall Never Again Be Named. Mr. Ting's response moved him up many notches in many books. He has no real chance, but that is not the point. He has successfully capitalized on an opportunity to show character under pressure with the field fully lighted.
Job done.

Protack, Carper then Ting...that is the order that the Unions rank the three. Nothing gets done in Delaware without the unions. Anyone that doesn't know that belongs in another state. Protack matches up better than Ting against Carper...either one is a longshot, but Carper....ranked #97 among Senators for their influence...is vulnerable...just not to the candidate that the unions refer to as "Mr. Outsource"....it may not be fair to label someone based on their race, but as we all know, it is done all day everyday throughout this state...and for the State GOP to head down that road proves one thing...they have blinders on. Here comes another train wreck.

Unfortunately we can document that the Journal is biased toward Repub's and against the FACTS

Upon discovering proof of 34 acts of perjury n $300 million fraud in the DE Bankruptcy case of eToys (01-706) we informed the Press.
Intially the Wilmington Journal reporter jumped at the chance, stating he had been waiting for a long time to find proof of the "good ole boys" network inside DE Courts.

Then he was yanked off the story.

The WSJ did part of the story after the DE Dept of Justice came to the rescue of the MNAT and TBF law firms.

Even though the Dept of Justice is mandated to prosecute perjury and fraud, and the law firms of MNAT and TBF confessed to filing 34 false affidavits and deceiving the court. The DE Dept of Justice circled the wagons to protect the case by disgorging the TBF law firm, (that is now dissolved)and failing even to Mention the MNAT law firms name.

When we discovered that the US Attorney in DE, Colm F Connolly was a partner with the MNAT law firm in 2001, we reported it to the US ATtorney in CA, and he responded by disbanding the Public Corruption Unit and threatening career prosecutors (please see L A Times story by Scott Glover "Shake-up roils federal prosecutors March 2008)

When we reported it to Rep Mike Castle, who touts the desire to keep DE Clean from corruption, his staff spoke to us, accussed me (a Republican) of party politics and then Rep Castle immediately began a push, with the assistance of the Wilmington Journal to force the Nomination of Colm Connolly for Delaware Dist Court Judge.

The Journal even went so far as to accuse Senator Biden of playing politics in Biden's refusal to send in the "slip" to the Senate stating that Biden O K's the Nomination of Colm Connolly.

After the dismantling of the Public Corruption Unit the FBI reached out to us to hear of our proofs and then the Region 3 US Trustee, Stapleton Resigned over DE.

Then a week later the FBI raided the Special Counsel's office of the Dept of Justice in Washington DC
for
Destruction of Whistle blower files against Government personnel.

The Journals reporter Maureen Milford fained that she would report the story and defended the WJ did not ever yank a reporter off the story.

I still have his emails...

http://fraud-corruption-mnat.townhall.com/default.aspx
The facts are online, stated "under penalty of perjury" alleging fraud and corruption by the DE Dept of Justice.

As you can see I consider the issues serious and do not take them lightly

It is the hope that you take the issues serious as well
